The deities have inhabited it since antiquity, the Romans planted vines there and celebrated their gods, the Gauls built villas and places of worship, the Troubadours sang about it... Numerous remains bear witness to its history: a Gallo-Roman villa located to the west of the estate, a chapel from the same period to the east; two Roman sarcophagi from the 4th century and a Gothic stele from the 12th century as well as two sarcophagi from the 4th and 12th centuries were discovered on the estate in the middle of a canvas of shards of crockery and ceramics... The mystery remains, the spell is perpetuated. It is enough for our steps to guide us towards an interlacing of holm oaks with the bubbling of a waterfall through the fragrant paths of an undergrowth whose paths open onto the vineyard, as far as the eye can see. Born “Le Clos du Blanc”, it became “Domaine Tour Campanets” , in 1966 with the construction of the winery on the golden ratio. This symbolic tower with its bold and graceful framework was built by the former owner Mr Marcel Lafforgue.

The Domaine Tour Campanets offers an unusual pleasure in Provence where the magic of the place is exercised between shadow and light, between wood and vines, between coolness and heatwave, as well as the idyllic image of a sea of vines overlooking the mountains of the Luberon, and the enchantment of the paths which wind through the middle of oak woods inhabited by springs, waterfalls and old stones. Year 2012, a new adventure begins. The estate is taken over by the BAUDE family and managed by Emmanuelle BAUDE: passionate about wine and vines.
She leaves her job as a notary to make her dream come true. Seduced by the Tour Campanets estate and convinced of its potential, she puts all her energy into rehabilitating the vineyard and taking on the challenge of relaunching the production of a wine from a wine estate that is today little-known but tomorrow... Emmanuelle BAUDE has the ambition to get the best out of one's terroir by applying the difficult exercise of organic viticultural management: "The chemical industry had improved the lives of farmers, made work easier, avoided diseases which decimated entire plots, increased the economic profitability. For my part, organic farming is a necessity. I was born in 1970, and I think that today technical progress allows us every day to treat the vine more and more naturally. I feel like a gateway in this profession, men have worked this land before me and Others will work on it after me. Respect for these natural elements is obvious. As soon as I acquired the estate in June 2012, I submitted my request to ECOCERT: organic conversion certificate obtained in August 2012. Today, research has a new mission, to improve agricultural methods towards a natural path. Progress today is respect for the soil.”
